How do I start service?

Ongoing/Frequent Clients:  An easy to use drag and drop file sharing folder will be set up by PMTS for you to deposit your voice dictations.  Nothing could be easier!

Infrequent Clients:  Dictations can be sent via email or through a file share folder, if preferred.

And finally, yes, we still also have the ability to transcribe either mini, micro, or standard cassettes received via regular mail or courier.

In all cases, we will either attach your reports directly into your EMR, deposit them in the file share folder or send them via encrypted email.

How do we preserve patient confidentiality?

PMTS is Confidentiality of Health Records Certified.

We can also provide you with a signed confidentiality agreement or you can provide us with one of your own.

Of great importance and pride to us, all transcription is completed in British Columbia. We do not offshore your patients’ valuable personal health information and our clients see the value in that and in supporting a local, Canadian, small business.

Why charge a per line rate?

Charging a per line rate ensures that you are not being over-charged as you might be by companies that charge per work hour. We publish our rates to assure there are no surprises when you receive your invoice.
